Skipping Stones

The beautiful pink/blue sky was breathtaking. L couldn't help but want to get out of the house and take a stroll. Besides, he had been cooped up in the house all day. He decided that a walk on the beach at sunset would make anyones day a bit better, so ofcourse he went for it.

He stood at the edge of the banks, where the water began to meet the sand. His shoes were off and tossed aside while his pants legs were rolled up in large cuffs. He searced around for smooth stones amongst the many seashells, planning to toss them. And once he found a few, he did what any child-at-heart would do. He skipped them across the oceans surface.

November 11 walked aimlessly around the beach shore. He sighed. He was rather bored, lately, no excitement at all in these parts. Seeing a guy skipping stones, he decided to approach him and spark up a conversation, out of boredom if anything. "Hello," He said, walking up behind the man,

After skipping another stone, L turned around to face the man. Tall..Taller than him at least, fierce..ish eyes, seemed like a nice guy to have a conversation with..

"Hello,"

L greeted, looking up to the man. From the way Jack was standing, he seemed like he was a mellow person.

"Ryuuzaki.", He finished greeting, holding out his hand limply to the man.

November glanced down at the guys hand and shook it. "Jack Simon," he said with a smile. He glanced at the water, then back at the guy. "...Having fun?"

"As much fun as a person can have alone, skipping stones. But I have to admit.. The sky is a pick-me-up. Don't you agree?"

L put a hand on his hip after the man, who he now knew as Jack, finished shaking it. He slid the other one in his pants pocket.

November glanced up. "I suppose so," He chuckled. Looking back at the man, Ryuuzaki, he noticed his odd way of standing. Being the blunt sort of person he was, he felt that he should point it out. "You're rather odd, aren't you?"
